Canadian Chicken Hatchery is a great place to get your chicks and hatching eggs from. We follow the strict biosecurity measures as recommended by the Canadian Food and Inspection Agency along with our Provincial Veterinarian.
All our birds have spacious areas to chase insects, take dirt baths, watch the activities of the farm every day, even in winter. It is their choice if they want to go outside or stay cozy warm in their insulated chicken coops - cool in the summer and warm in the winter!
Our chickens enjoy a wonderful diet of the best chicken food we can find, fresh vegetables and fruits daily, always fresh water available and many treats such as cracked corn, hen scratch and insects. Of course, they chase and catch the insects themselves - doing what comes naturally for chickens and fowl!
